This Week's Weigh-in...

If you read this blog with any degree of regularity you know that I go to WeightWatchers weigh-in every Wednesday during my lunch hour.

At weigh-in today I was down -1.2 lbs for a loss of -12.6 lbs, since I re-started the program on 12/29/10 which averages out to -2.5 lbs per week since then.

If I lose six more pounds, I'll be equal to the weight I was before I threw myself off the WeightWatchers wagon last November for the holidays and subsequently gained +18 lbs in two months time.

That's my short-term goal, but I also have a long-term goal of never allowing myself to get so out-of-control again. I know it sounds AA-esque but I'm truly taking it "One day at a time."

Hopefully there will be less of me to write about next week!

  1. Thanks so much for keeping us posted! I, for one, am inspired by your story - and continuing saga. You have not had a "perfect" journey - but it has been that - a journey! And, a real one at that! I wasn't able to go to my (Tuesday) Weight Watchers meeting because they closed our YMCA - which is where our WW meetings are held. (Closed due to inclement weather.) I know I lost weight this week, but will have to wait till next Tuesday to see how much of that (losing) momentum I've kept up! Like you, I had made great progress prior to the holidays. I even said I wasn't gonna let myself jump off the WW wagon, until it came time to do so and I evacuated too! It has been hard getting back on track and doing the right thing. It's especially hard to be nearing (or back at) where you were just before you got off the WW wagon, and then realize all the time you "lost" along the way. I'm just now getting back to where I'm feeling good about losing the weight because it's weight I'd already lost once! haha I know I'm rambling. I just wanted to reinforce what you said, and let you know you're surely NOT alone! Thanks again for sharing - and keep it up!!

  2. Great job, Bro.
After being down 3.4 last week, I was +1 this week, but I remain undaunted. I've done this long enough to know how my body works, and in the long run, I'll get there.

My goal now is to MOVE IT - when I do that, things kick into high gear.

    Keep up the great work!
